Specialized Moving Services provides specialty item services in Denver and across the Front Range: trained, background-checked technicians, proper rigging and equipment, and the option to crate the item first, because we're also a crating company. We are not a moving company and we don't run full household moves — if you have one difficult item, that's our whole business. Family owned since 1988.
What we handle
- Pool tables: professional teardown, slate handled and transported flat, felt protected, reassembly and leveling at the destination

Why a specialty crew is different
Weight is only half the problem. A home gym through a narrow basement stairwell is a geometry problem, and a pool table is a precision instrument disguised as furniture. Our technicians carry the equipment — stair-climbing dollies, floor protection, rigging straps — and the judgment that comes from doing this work week after week since 1988. If a job needs more than handling, we crate: the same visit can put a grandfather clock into a custom crate for a cross-country shipment.
Local service and prep for long-distance shipment
We handle specialty items two ways: complete local service within the Denver metro — Englewood, Aurora, Lakewood, Boulder, and out to Colorado Springs — or preparation for long-distance shipment, where we disassemble, protect, and crate the item so a carrier can handle it like ordinary freight. Moving companies hire us for exactly this, and homeowners use us to un-exclude the items their moving contract won't cover.

Are you a moving company?
No. We're a specialty crating and item-handling company — we don't run full household moves. What we do is handle the specific items that are too difficult, heavy, or valuable for a general move: pool tables, exercise equipment, grandfather clocks, fine art, and anything that needs to be crated. If you're moving and have one of those items, we're the crew you call for just that piece.
Can you move a pool table without ruining it?
